ZYPd FAQ
What is ZYPd?
ZYPd is a real-time mobile preview engine (MPE).  Click here for more details about what ZYPd is.

Does ZYPd work with sites that require logon to access information?
No.  ZYPd accesses only information available to any anonymous user.  Even if you enter user or password information on a preview page presented by ZYPd, that information is never transmitted to ZYPd but rather to the site directly, at which point you will also leave the ZYPd preview.

How do I format location information?
You can enter your location information in almost any format, but, while ZYPd is good at guessing what you mean, the more complete the location entry is, the better the results will be. For instance, you can enter just a zip code, or just city and 2-letter state abbreviation. You can always add a street address before the city/state or zip for more specificity (for best results put a comma after the street address). You can specify an intersection by separating street names with an ampersand ("&"). You can use 3 letter airport codes, although for some searches you must also specify the city and state as well (eg, "SFO SF CA"). Many city abbreviations work, such as NY, LA, CHI, SF, HOU, PHL, STL, etc. but you must include the 2-letter state abbreviation as well. Try it.

Can I make a web site that I maintain more "ZYPd-friendly" and specify predefined content to be used for ZYPd previews?
Yes.  Just enclose any content that you want to make easily available for ZYPd preview in ZYPd tag blocks.  Click here for more details.

Can I disallow access by ZYPd users to my website?
Yes.  We believe that allowing access to your web site via ZYPd helps your customers better interact with your web site when using a mobile device when they otherwise might not be able to get access at all.  We also believe this creates greater customer loyalty to your site.  However, if you wish to prevent users of ZYPd from accessing your website through ZYPd, click here for instructions.
